Beloved wife of the late Ike Matthews (2010).

Dear mother to Brian (Kim) and Jennifer (Blair).

Loving Granny to Adam (Alayna), Jessica, and Justin.

Cherished Granny to Graye, Ike, and Boone.

Caring sister to Kenneth (Beth) and Louise, and sister-in-law to Ken Matthews.

Predeceased by her parents, Alma and Harold Smith; brother, Don Smith; sisters-in-law, Lena Smith and Betty Smith; and brother-in-law, Terry. Also predeceased by Ike’s siblings, Wilma-Jean Evans and Beverly.

Helen cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and found her greatest joy in time spent with family. She loved days at the lake, playing cards, cheering on the Blue Jays, and curling. Her laughter, always so full of warmth, will be deeply missed. Helen will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, extended family, and her beloved Sistahood.

As per Helen’s wishes, no service will take place. A private graveside burial is entrusted with Denning’s of Forest.
