It is with great sadness that the family of Leroy Wilson McCallum (Duke) announces his passing on September 24, 2025, at the age of 90.
Beloved husband of the late Maria McCallum. Cherished father of the late Brian Andrew McCallum and Mark Stephen McCallum (Mary). Proud brother of the late Ray (Frances), the late Ken (Gloria), the late Keith (Barb), and his late sister Audry McCallum (Floyd Wilker).
Lee will be deeply missed by close friends Pam MacKay and Skip Meathrel, and fondly remembered by his extended family. The family extends heartfelt thanks to his friends at Arva Court and Seasons Retirement Living for their kindness and companionship.
Lee had a long and fulfilling career with The Corporation of the City of London, where he worked for over 30 years. Through self-education and dedication, he progressed from issuing parking tickets to becoming a Buyer, retiring in 1994.
He was devoted to his late wife Maria, with whom he shared 65 wonderful years. Lee found great joy spending time at the cottage in Port Glasgow, surrounded by family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. As per Lee’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and he will be laid to rest with his wife and son at St. John’s Cemetery in Arva.
