MCCARTER, Greig Cameron McCarter

Passed away unexpectedly at his residence on June 29, 2026 at the age of 65 years.

He was a devoted husband to his wife Christine and a loving father to his daughter Amy. The love he gave them was returned in full measure—he was cherished by his family just as deeply as he cherished them.

Greig Cameron McCarter found joy in the outdoors and the quiet treasures it offered. He loved rock hounding, searching for and uncovering nature’s hidden gems. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who took pride in time spent in the woods and on the water. His dogs Shelby & Gabby will miss the adventures they shared with Greig.  Through his YouTube channel (meMiner) he shared that passion with a wider community, bringing his adventures and discoveries to many who came to know and appreciate him.

He will be remembered for his enthusiasm, the light he brought to those around him, and the simple, genuine way he lived. Christine, Amy, and all who loved him will miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Greig’s life will be held at Low & Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge on Saturday October 3, 2026 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family.    Friends are invited to share memories, express condolences or make donations www.lowandlow.ca.
