MCCREIGHT, Bruce McCreight

Peacefully, on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Lakeridge Health Bowmanville. Bruce McCreight, beloved husband of Anne (nee Kerr) for 65 years.  Loved father of Debbie Pettifer (Ross), Ernie McCreight (Cindy), and Sam McCreight (Becky). Cherished grandfather of Candice (Lee), Tiffany (Tyler), Bryan, Matthew (Nicole), Julie, Amy (Greg), and Scott. Proud great-grandfather to Blake, Tyler, Troy, Trent, Kayden, and Cohen.

For 25 years, he took great pride in his work as an auto body repairman at Swamp Garage, where he built not only a respected business but lifelong friendships. With his wife Anne he found the life he loved up north, snowmobiling and exploring on his side-by-side, relaxing at his home and watching countless sunsets surrounded by family and friends. His faithful dog, Holly, was never far from his side and brought him endless companionship and joy.

Above all else, his greatest love was his family. They were his heart, his purpose, and his greatest accomplishment. He will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his generous spirit and humour, his love of the outdoors, and the lasting memories he created with everyone fortunate enough to know him. Though he will be deeply missed, his love and legacy will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

Rested at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171). A Service to Celebrate his life will be announced at a later date.
