It is with profound anguish we announce the passing of Sandra “Sandi” McLellan on Tuesday, May 26 th , 2026. Ever relentless, Sandi valiantly fought cancer for the past six months, all the while maintaining a truly positive outlook.
Sandi was born in Great Barrington, Massachusetts on August 6 th , 1956, and at the age of 13 her family immigrated to McDonald’s Corners, Ontario. Sandi is predeceased by her parents, Wallace and Joyce Lane (nee Funk).
Sandi was fiercely loyal and lived her life selflessly, finding great purpose in providing anything and everything for her family. Sandi will be greatly missed by her husband and best friend of 38 years, Charles McLellan; her sons, Edward (Samantha) McLellan, Daryl (Kelsey) McLellan, and her granddaughters, Kenzie and Darby. Sandi is survived by her siblings George and Tammy Lane.
Sandi’s laid back and fun-loving personality will be fondly remembered by her friends and family. She loved Sunday drives with Charlie, hosting her Halloween party, camping with friends, and travelling to Nashville. Everyone who met Sandi learned very quickly how much love she had for her boys, Eddy and Daryl. In recent years she stepped into a new role as Granny, where Kenzie and Darby overfilled her cup and created wonderful lasting memories.
Sandi will always be remembered for putting family first and being willing to drop everything to help those she loved.
