MELOCHE, Dr. Wayne Meloche

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dr. Wayne Meloche on June 9, 2026.

He was known for storytelling, often turning a simple conversation into a long, winding, memorable tale. He was a good friend and listener.

He was also known for his warm smile, a fitting trait for someone who spent more than 40 years as a dentist in South Windsor caring for the smiles of others. Remarkably, he still had all of his own teeth, a fact he carried with a touch of pride.

He was deeply proud of his three daughters, Andréa, Monique and Renée, and their accomplishments, and he never missed an opportunity to share their successes with others.

He was a loving Pipi to Émile, Quenton, Kaisa, Ewan and Kyle, who brought immense fun and joy to his life.

He is predeceased by the mother of his children, Hannele, and dearly missed daughter, Andréa.

He enjoyed long conversations and roguish late-night banter with his sons-in-law, Paul, Alain and David.

He leaves behind his siblings Gary, Keith and Sheila and their families – he loved getting together and retelling old jokes and stories.

He had a deep appreciation for food and cooking, finding happiness both in preparing meals and sharing them with family and friends.

He was not known to be someone to step out of his comfort zone, yet was thrilled to cross international borders to share adventures with his daughter, Renée, in four different countries.

He had a curiosity about the world and was rarely far from the news, often keeping CBC on in the background from morning until night. It was part of the soundtrack of his home and reflected his interest in current events and ideas.

Arrangements entrusted to Low & Low Funeral Home, Port Perry Chapel.  Friends are invited to send condolences by visiting www.lowandlow.ca.
