With heavy hearts but unwavering faith, we announce that our beloved father, Adel Messiha, went home to be with the Lord on August 19, 2025, at the age of 67.
Born in Cairo, Egypt, on March 24, 1958, Adel grew up with a deep love for learning and an even deeper love for God. He immigrated to Canada, where through perseverance and grace, he became a pharmacist—a calling he fulfilled with great compassion, humility, and care for others.
He was a man of strong faith and quiet strength. He lived a life rooted in prayer, service, and love. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, gentleness, and unwavering love for his family. His life was a testimony to God’s goodness—a life well-lived, full of purpose, and rich in spirit.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but we take comfort in knowing he is now in the presence of his Savior, embraced by eternal peace.
A celebration of his life and faith will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at The Church of Virgin Mary and St Athanasius.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Canadian Cholangiocarcinoma Collaborative (C3).
