Lisk, Michael – Master Warrant Officer (MWO) – It is with profound sadness and shattered hearts that we announce the devastating loss of Master Warrant Officer Michael "Mike" Lisk at his home on Sunday, September 13th, 2026, at the age of 48.

Mike of Pembroke and Petawawa was the devoted and loving partner of Andrée Poirier. He was the cherished son of Theresa Herron and a beloved brother to Jamie Sylvestre (Josh). Above all else, Mike's greatest pride and joy were his daughters, Faith (Colton) and Brooke (Braidy), and Andrée’s sons Jonathan and Ashton. He was a deeply loving and proud grandfather, affectionately known as "Grumps" to his treasured granddaughter, Blake Lynn. He will also be missed by Jessica Buchwald-Lisk, mother of his daughters. He leaves behind his uncles, Leslie (Dibby) and Roy Lisk, as well as his beloved nephews Gavin Squires, and Brycen Sylvestre, and his cherished nieces Keely Squires, Peyton Sylvestre, and Justine Lisk, all of whom will miss him dearly. Mike was predeceased by his grandparents, Marilyn, and Francis Lisk, and by his aunts and uncles Maureen and James Caughey, Francis Lisk-Jolicoeur, and Bill Lisk.

Mike will be remembered for his unwavering loyalty, his generous heart, his sense of humour, and the deep love he shared with his family and friends. His presence brought comfort, strength, and laughter to those fortunate enough to know him. Though his passing leaves an immense void, the memories he created and the lives he touched will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved him.

Mike's distinguished military service, dedication to duty, and commitment to his regiment reflected the same strength of character, integrity, and compassion that defined him in every aspect of his life. His legacy will endure through his family, his friends, and all those he had the privilege to serve with.
