Michael “Mike” White passed away on October 2, 2026, at St. Joseph’s Hospice, surrounded by his family.
Mike was predeceased by his wife, Julie White, and his daughter, Melissa White Vandermeer. He is remembered by his daughter Michelle Parks, grandchildren Samantha and Nicholas Parks, niece Robyn Dyck, son-in-law Dan Vandermeer, siblings and extended family.
He worked for Imperial Oil for more than 30 years, first aboard Great Lakes ships and later as a shipping and receiving supervisor. Mike coached fastball and travel hockey, played two-pitch and enjoyed golf and the friendships connected to sport.
Visitation will be held at the SFH–McKenzie Blundy Chapel, 431 Christina Street North, Sarnia, on October 6, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m., with interment at Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
