It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William (Bill) Joseph Miller on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the age of 71, at London Health Science Centre – Victoria Hospital, following a battle with cancer. Bill spent much of his life in the Aylmer area but was born on June 15, 1953, in Morden, Manitoba, to the late Jacob Miller (2005) and Elisabeth (Braun) Miller (1979).
Bill is survived by his siblings: Ann Reams, Tina Janzen (Bill), Helen Friesen (Abe), and Susan Lemaire (Richard). He is also lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law Alice Miller (George) and by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his stepmother Elisabeth (Fehr) Miller (1989), his brother George (2012), his sister Elizabeth Woods (2024), his brother Jake (2013), his sister Nettie Honsinger (2023), and his brother John (2021).
A funeral service to honor Bill’s life will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home in Aylmer on Monday, November 18, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Visitation will take place from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Interment will follow immediately at Smuck Cemetery on Jackson Line near Straffordville.
