MILLER, Ernest Ross Miller

Our Dad was a strong minded independent hard working individual never one for asking for help but always willing to help his family and friends out. He was a man of many, many talents. We always said he was a jack of all trades but the master of none. There wasn’t really anything that he could not do and if he wasn’t sure about it he would learn how to do it. He was that guy that could spot a diamond in the rough whether it was a run down house or a rusty old car or something that someone had was giving away. He would restore it. Our Dad was also very artistic from his drawings, oil paintings and wood carvings. He also enjoyed to fish in his spare time and loved to dance especially in his younger years. He always had lots of stories to tell and share. He is going to be sadly missed by all.Predeceased by his Parents, Step-father and some of his siblings-Eldon Miller, Emily (Tapper) Miller-McCann, James McCann, Sisters Edie, Johann, Mary, Valerie and Brother Billy
He leaves behind his sisters Rosemary, Olive and brother Jimmy and brother-in-laws Roger, Rob, Calvin and Larry and many nieces and nephews. He is going to be sadly missed by his children Glenn, Carolyn (Duane) and Donna (Vince). Grandchildren Justin, Jessalyn , Michael (Laura), Shannon, Kathleen (Mike). Great-grandchildren Brielle, Everly, Jacob, Georgia, Maeve, Abigail and Eloise.

We would like to thank Dr Thomas and the staff at Hillsdale Estates especial all the wonderful staff on Apple Blossom Unit for all of the care and compassion you gave our Dad during his time with you and the compassion that was extended to his family especially in his final days.

As per keeping with our Dad’s wishes there will be a private family interment.
In lieu of flowers donation to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or Canadian Lung Association or C.A.S.T for Kids Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
