It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ryan Scott Mooney, age 49, on June 4, 2025.

Ryan was a devoted father, son, brother, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew him with his humor, kindness, and generosity.Ryan was a loving father to his cherished daughter, Kylee, who was the light of his life. He was also a beloved son to Mark and Maxine Ashcroft, and a caring brother to Jessica Ashcroft. His unwavering support for his family and friends will be remembered fondly, as Ryan always went above and beyond to be there for those in need. Whether it was offering a helping hand, a listening ear, or just showing up when it mattered most, Ryan’s commitment to those he loved was immeasurable.

Known for his infectious smile and sense of humor, Ryan had the unique ability to brighten any room he entered. He could often be found sitting with his Tim Hortons coffee in hand, enjoying the simple pleasures of life and making those around him feel at ease. His generosity and caring nature made him a friend to all, and he leaves behind a legacy of kindness that will never be forgotten.

Ryan’s passing leaves a hole in the hearts of his family and friends, but his spirit will continue to live on in the memories and moments shared with those who loved him. He will be deeply missed but forever cherished.
