Gerald Richard Moore (Gerry) of Oshawa Ontario… Cancer may have beaten him, but because of Jesus Christ, death didn’t!

Predeceased by his first wife of 45 years Mary (ne Braithwaite) and sadly missed by his current wife of 4 years Arlene (ne Cowan). Survived by his sons Adam (Sarah) and Aaron (Christina); his grandchildren Orson, Naomi, and Sophia; and his siblings Cathy, Patricia, and Judd. All will miss this honourable, honest, and caring man.

A devoted follower of Christ for half a century, Gerry volunteered at various charities and was president of the Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship (Cobourg Chapter) for 40 years. He was a cheerful and generous giver, both of his time and resources. Two ministries close to his heart are mentioned below.

A Service to Celebrate Gerry’s Life will be held on Saturday May 23, 2026, at THORNTON CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE (1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, 905-579-6787), with visitation from 10am until service time at 11am, with burial to follow.
