It is with heavy hearts and profound love that we announce the passing of Margaret Joan Morris a woman who navigated the journey of motherhood as a single parent with unmatched strength and grace. She was a woman of rare grit who navigated the challenges of life with a fierce independence. She worked tirelessly to ensure we had everything we needed, often sacrificing her own needs and wants. She didn’t always have all the answers, and she certainly didn’t claim to be perfect, but in our eyes, she was a hero. She loved us with everything she had and always put us first.

She is survived by her children, Yvonne and Wendy, who will forever carry her spirit in their hearts. Preceded in death by her son, Bryan and her 1st grandchild Samantha. She will be missed terribly by her three grandchildren, Jake, Sean and Eric and her great grandchild Valerie Morris. She is survived by her sisters and brother Ted Morris, Lois Miller and Ruth Roncetti who will feel her absence deeply, and preceded in death by her brother Jim Morris.

Visitation will be held at COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL 1587 Highway 2, on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 12:30 pm until time of Celebration of Life service in the chapel at 1:30 pm.
