She was predeceased by her beloved husband, John (Jack) William Morton, Carolyn is deeply missed by her children Les (Leslie), Jeff (Rose), Laurie (Lee), Cathy (Stan) her cherished grandchildren Chad (Karly), Kyle (Kendra), Erin (Troy), Amanda, Jessica, Kevin(Ceilidh) and Alex(Kristen); and her many great-grandchildren, 11 to be exact. Extra special memories with Bentley, Scarlett and Logan.
Her grandchildren were the light of her life. A talented seamstress and crafter, she poured her heart into every stitch, every handmade gift, and every detail of her famously decorated Christmas presents—the kind you couldn’t wait to open because the wrapping itself was a work of art.
Carolyn loved to travel, especially to Jamaica. She had a special passion for the Blue Angels, even taking her grandchildren to air shows, and we take comfort knowing she now has the best seat in the sky to watch them fly. At home, she was a devoted Toronto Blue Jays fan, rarely missing a game.
Cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Carolyn’s family will remember her in every perfectly wrapped gift, every Blue Jays game, every Blue Angels flight, Jello shots and every journey yet to come. Don’t worry, Gram—we’ll get you back to Jamaica.
