MUELLER, Petra Mueller

Born Hauck, passed away on June 26, 2026, at the age of 66. She was born on January 29, 1960, in Hagen, Germany.
Petra Mueller is survived by her husband, Werner; her sons, Michael and Christian (and his fiancée, Nicola); her daughter, Sarah, and son-in-law, Frank; her grandchildren, Markus and Lucy, whom she loved dearly; and the family cat, Timmy.
In Germany, Petra worked caring for the elderly, bringing the same warmth and compassion into her work that she brought into her own home. In 1988, she married her soul mate, Werner. In 1995, she and her family moved to Canada, where she devoted herself fully to her family, raising the two little boys into the wonderful men they are today, all while pouring herself into her many creative passions.
Petra had a gift for making things beautiful. She painted stunning abstract works and was crafty in countless other ways, always finding a new project to pour her creativity into. Her garden and her home decorating reflected the same eye for beauty and detail. Her food brought everyone together, and she was a phenomenal cook and baker, with the occasional (and memorable) mix-up of powdered sugar for baking powder.
Petra had her stubborn side, a trait everyone who loved her could recognize instantly, but underneath it was a soul that was endlessly sweet, forgiving, and always ready to help wherever she could.
Wherever she is now, we like to think she is walking again with her beloved dog Lily, and that the two of them are looking after their cat Luna together, the three of them looking over her family.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
