It is with deep sadness that the family of Etta Muise announces her passing at the age of ninety one. Etta Maude Muise passed away peacefully at the Smiths Falls Hospital on Monday, March 9th 2026.
Etta is deeply missed by her husband of sixty two years, Bill Muise. Daughter Kimberley (nee White) Dugdale. Sons John White (Jacqueline) and Darren Muise. Sister Kathleen. Step son Bill (Dorothy) Harrington. Step daughter-in law Joanne Rivest as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, extended family and countless friends who were close to her for many years.
Predeceased by her parents John and Olive Hiscock. Brothers Ernest, Maurice, George, Bill, Ronnie and Jack. Sisters Alma, Joyce, Olive and Addie. Son James White. Son-in-law Richard Dugdale and step daughter Dayle Harrington.
Etta worked at the Rideau Regional Centre before joining her husband running the bowling alley in town for close to 30 years. The family will announce a Celebration of Life for Etta at a later date.
