It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kenneth Robert Mullin at his home on May 15, 2025, at the age of 50.
Born in Montreal and raised in Brockville, Ontario, Ken’s passion for bowling and deep community ties shaped his early years. He was a devoted son to Janice Mullin (née Reeves), who passed in 2004, and is lovingly remembered by his father, Winston Mullin.
Ken’s first job at Tim Hortons in Mallorytown during high school sparked a lifelong career. His dedication and warmth endeared him to colleagues and customers across many locations throughout Ontario.
After moving to Ottawa, Ken studied Early Childhood Education at Algonquin College. While working at Rideau Centre’s Tim Hortons, he met Liz Fraser, whom he later married. Together, they raised their three beloved sons—Matthew, Avery, and William—in Toronto. Though Ken and Liz later divorced, their co-parenting bond remained strong.
Ken and his sons shared many special moments, from enjoying meals at the Mandarin to watching The Lord of the Rings trilogy together. He was a quiet, kind, and deeply loving father.
Ken is survived by his sons, his father Winston, brothers David (Collina) and Gerry (Lori), nephew Troy, and nieces Sarah, Ellen, Teaghan, and Brooklyn.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 15, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Frenchman’s Bay Yacht Club in Pickering, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers or donations, Ken would simply want you to hug your family a little tighter every day. We are not promised tomorrow—may we all live each day to the fullest.
