MURPHY, Clive Murphy

Peacefully passed away on February 8, 2026 at his home, in his 60th year.

Beloved husband of Susan. Predeceased by his parents Maurice & Annie Philomena Murphy and by his brother James. Cherished brother of Vincent (Alison), Jacqueline (Phil), David (Julie), and Craig (Sarah) and brother-in-law of Robert, Elizabeth (Kevin), and Caroline (Jim). Dear uncle of Thomas, Michael, Lauren, Alexandria, Kieran, Jordan, and Ryan. Clive will be very sadly missed by Aunt Marg, Peter, and Bill.

Clive was born in the United Kingdom, he also spent several years in Ireland, where he formed many fond memories that stayed with him throughout his life. At just 18 years old, he set out on a new adventure, emigrating to Canada as a young man, where he would go on to establish his home, career, and lasting friendships.

He was known for his intelligence, quick wit, and the ability to make others laugh, often brightening a room with his humour. A dedicated and hardworking professional, he spent many years as a valued employee of The Remington Group. He was exceptionally handy, with a natural and clever understanding of how things worked and was always willing and happiest when lending a hand.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 1:30 p.m.
