MURPHY, Linda Gail Murphy

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Gail Murphy/ Born August 4, 1948 in Peterborough, Ontario and passing on June 22, 2025. She passed peacefully in her sleep at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario. Linda leaves behind her husband, Ron, as well as her children Thomas (Gregg) and Lisa (John) as well as her grandchildren Mitchell and Brendan. She also leaves behind her step daughter Colleen (Jeff) and her step grandaughter Ella. Also she leaves behind her stepson Sean (Jill0 and her step grandchildren Patrick, Ivy, and Dax. She was predecased by her son Troy. She also leaves behind her sister, Bonnie (Bob) and her brother John (Linda) Linda was predeceased by her brothers Grant (Linda) and Gary (Gayle). She also leaves behind her nephews Doug, Rick and Jeff, as well as her nieces Jenny, Stephanie, Amy and Angela.

Linda enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, home decorating and canning. Sometimes it was growing both the smallest and the biggest pumpkins at the Lindsay Fair,and occaisionally setting on fire while the kitchen curtains while making homemade jelly. She loved trips to Aruba and Las Vegas with her husband, Ron. Linda was vibrant and fiery and will be rememberedas someone who stood her ground and fought for what she believed in.
