Peacefully at Warkworth Place Nursing Home on Monday August 24th, 2026 in her 98th year. Predeceased by her loving husband of 40 years Douglas McMurray. Eldest child of Claude and Alice Goodrich and daughter-in-law of Fredrick and Marietta McMurray. Beloved mother of Wayne (Anne), Gary (Linda), Alan (Nancy) and Darrell (Tina). Grandmother of Mike (Melissa), Cheryl (Jim), Tracy (Mike), Rhonda, Thomas (Melissa), Ashley (Andrew), Holly (James), Chris (Lacey), Eric (Krista) and great grandmother of 22 grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Myrtle is survived by her brother Douglas Goodrich and predeceased by Shirley, Marion, Cyril, Arnold, Robert, Glenn, Doreen and their spouses. She is also predeceased by her brother and sisters-in-law on the McMurray side, Fred, Lloyd, Ted, Ruth, Marg, Helen, Doris, Cora, Velma and Madeline. Family and friends are invited to call at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 11 King St., W., Colborne on Thursday August 27th from 12 noon – 2 pm., followed by a service at 2 pm. Interment in Colborne Union Cemetery. If desired donations may be made to St. George’s Anglican Church or Heart & Stroke Foundation.
