Rose Wilhelmina Narkevicius

August 1, 2025

Smiling woman with dark hair wearing black top.

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Rose Narkevicius on August 1st, 2025.

Beloved wife of Joe, with whom she shared 34 wonderful years of love and laughter. Cherished mother of Danielle Gibson (Kyle McIntyre) and Taylor Narkevicius (Jarrett Miskokomon). Loving sister to Sue Burchill, and dear niece to Uncle Harry. She will be fondly remembered by her lifelong friends, the “3 Amigos,” Linda Haid and Cheryl Brideau, whose bond brought joy and laughter through the years. Rose will be deeply missed by her cousins, extended family, and many treasured friends.

Rose was a woman of warmth and adventure. She found joy in the simple pleasures from gardening, reading crime thrillers or murder mysteries, and spending time with her beloved cats. Her spirit was adventurous, always ready to explore new places and embrace new experiences. She especially adored the beauty of fall and the magic of Christmas, seasons that reflected her love for tradition and togetherness. Above all, Rose loved her family and friends—they were her everything.

As per Roses’ wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place October 18, 2025 from 12:00p.m-3:30p.m at the Strathroy Canadian Portuguese Club. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue. Online condolences and donations may be at www.strathroyfuneralhome.com. Arrangements entrusted to DENNING’S OF STRATHROY.
