Passed peacefully at Extendicare Bayview home, Toronto, on Saturday, September 5, 2026 in her 102nd year.
Dear sister of Siham Iskandar, Cairo, Egypt. Beloved mother of Shadia Drury (the late Dennis), Winnipeg and Wafaa Babcock (Brian), Toronto.
Sadly missed by her grandchildren Kelly Fewer, Carla Babcock, Stefan Babcock and Alex Allen.
Predeceased by her husband Anwar, her daughter Sanaa (Nick), her brother Ezat, and her sisters Soad, Soraya, and Nadra.
Visitation at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral home at 6191 Yonge Street, Toronto, M2M 4K4 (416 223-6050) on Wednesday September 16 from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral / Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Napanee on Thursday, September 17 at 11:30 am.
