NICKERSON, Holly Maxine Nickerson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Holly Maxine Nickerson

(Aug 4,1953–April 12, 2026), passed peacefully at Belleville Hospital on April 12, 2026.

Holly lived a life that was deeply intertwined with her family. She was a strong and outspoken individual who experienced life in her own unique way and left a lasting impression on those who knew her.

Holly was predeceased by her beloved husband, Nelson Nickerson; her daughter Crystal; and her parents, Bruce and Ruth Brown.

She leaves behind her loving children, Edward (Barb), Tina (Mike), Brandon (Cassie), Alan, and Nelson Jr. (Megan), who will carry her memory forward in their own ways.

She is also survived by her siblings: Leeta (Paul), Karen (Al), Dan (Donna), and Linda (Mike predeceased)

Holly was a grandmother to Victoria, Samantha, Elizabeth, Christina, Melissa, Keira, and Alice, and a great-grandmother to Sive Vienna.

Holly’s life was one of complexity, family ties, and experiences that shaped those around her. She will be remembered in many different ways by those whose lives she touched.
