Passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026 at Northumberland Hills Hospital in her 100th year.
Nola Arlene Wood was pre-deceased by her husband of 60 years; Orval Wood. She will be deeply missed by her son Steven (Teresa). She was one of the greatest mothers that anyone could ever be fortunate enough to have. Nola spent a lot of time volunteering at big brothers’ big sisters Port Hope and loved being outside in her garden. Cremation has taken place and there will be a private family interment at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that any donations in Nola’s memory be made to Wounded Warriors Canada.
