NOVACK, Sheldon Novack

It is with broken hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the untimely and peaceful passing of Sheldon Novack on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the age of 67. He passed surrounded by his devoted family, with music playing and love filling the room.

Sheldon was the cherished son of Irene and Irving Novack, and brother to the late Gary Novack (z”l). He was the loving father and father-in-law of Ganit and Phil Bernstein, Meagan and Alex Workman, and Allie and Snir Seitelbach. A beloved Zadie to Avery, Ellie, Neeve, Hazel, Levi, Ruby, Arie, Mia, and Ori.

Sheldon will be lovingly remembered by his extended family, including Nira and Yair Altman; Galy and Marvin Shapiro; Orly and Robert Gold; Mandi and Corey Robinson; Danielle and Dean Simon; Caryn and Matthew Altman; and by his many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends in Toronto and Montreal.

His courageous spirit, humour, and the strength he demonstrated throughout his battle with illness left a profound impact. Special thanks to Dr. Mihalcioiu and the Cedars Cancer Centre team, Dr. Ghoche and Mount Sinai’s 3rd floor staff, Dr. Maayan, and Dr. Ashley.
