NOVAK, Annie Novak

With sadness our family announces the passing of Annie Novak on February 12, 2026 at Hillsdale Terraces in Oshawa at the age of 95.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Miko. Loving mother of Ivan Novak (Visnja), Joe Novak (Barbara), Mary Ann Bullock (Mark) and Nicolas Novak (predeceased). Dear grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Annie was born in Preloka, Slovenia, where she met Miko. They emigrated to Canada in the 1950’s and lived in Kirkland Lake for a time before moving to Oshawa. There they established their lives and raised their family. Annie also worked at Chrysler as a seamstress and retired after many years of service. When Miko became ill, Annie moved to Hillsdale Terraces to be closer to her husband. There she made Hillsdale her home and established many friends in a caring and compassionate community. Annie loved to take pictures of her family and friends and was the owner of an impressive collection of pictures, framed photos and photo albums. Memories she has passed down to her children.

Annie is also predeceased by her brother Jože, sister Marica and parents Janko and Frančiska of Slovenia. She is Sister-In-Law to Barbara of Whitby, and aunt to many nieces and nephews in Canada, Slovenia and Germany.

A private service will be held at Armstrong Funeral Home on February 18th, 2026.
