OLDNALL, John Oldnall

With broken hearts the family of John Oldnall announce his passing on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Donna (nee Potts) for 45 years. Adored father of Adele (Kris), Christine (Tyler), and Daniel (Jenna). Beepa to Arabella and Bishop. Cherished brother to Linda (Gil), Jacquelyn (Dario), Blake and David (Marisa). Predeceased in death by father George and mother Rita Devine. Survived by their spouses Donna Oldnall and Don Devine. Loving brother in law of Bob Goody (late Janice). Loved son-in-law to the late Ruth and Edmund Potts.

John was happily retired from Chrysler for over 19 years. John and Donna spent their retirement years exploring over 23 countries including their favourites: Spain and Japan. When not traveling, John enjoyed spending his time lounging in his backyard with Donna by the pool.

John enjoyed his solo time listening to loud rock and roll, sitting at his desk appreciating and adding to his vast and varied collections, and reading Poe collections or whatever caught his interest. John was a passionate Toronto Maple Leafs fan.

The family is eternally grateful to the staff, nurses and doctors of the Windsor Hospice and Ontario at Home, and Windsor Cancer Clinic.

In John’s honour, memorial donations would be appreciated to Windsor-Essex Hospice or Windsor Cancer Center Foundation.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel – Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd E) On Wednesday, July 29, 2026 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm and from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. In Johns wishes, a private funeral service will take place.
