OLIPHANT, William Ernest Oliphant

With deep love and gratitude, the family of William “Bill” Oliphant announces his peaceful passing on February 18, 2026, at the remarkable age of 94. Bill was the beloved husband of the late Mary (Primeau) Oliphant, with whom he shared a full and beautiful life. Together, they built a family rooted in warmth, loyalty, and laughter. He will be dearly missed by his daughter Eileen, son-in-law Darrel and by the memory of his late son Billy. Bill was a devoted grandfather to Kimberly, Stephanie & Jason, and Steven. He was proudly a great-grandfather to Kayla & Justin, Wayne & Stephanie, Dylan & Christina, Carissa, Brianna & Christian and Riley & Kailey, and a great-great-grandfather to Lilliana, Kara, Annaleigh, Zachary, William, Hazel, Azazel, and Jaxon. His legacy lives on through each of them. Bill loved many things in his long, rich life. Time spent with his family, sunny days in Florida, the comfort of his pipe, and the companionship of animals. But above all, he was known for his kind heart, fun loving spirit, and the best laugh, a sound that filled every room and will be forever remembered. His presence was a blessing, and his memory will continue to guide and comfort all who loved him.

Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME in Oshawa, for visitation on Monday February 23, 2026 from 12:00pm – 1:00pm, with Funeral Service to follow starting at 1:00pm. Interment to follow at Thornton Cemetery Oshawa.
