OLIVEIRA, Samir De Oliveira

It is with deepest sorrow and an abundance of love that we mourn the passing of Samir Alencar

Sacramento De Oliveira of Toronto, Canada at the age of 44.

He will be lovingly remembered by his partner of over 15 years, Anthony Cavaiola; his father,

Otávio Augusto De Oliveira; his sister, Sara Alencar De Oliveira Gracindo (Jamil Gracindo), his

brother, Saulo Alencar Sacramento De Oliveira (Priscila David Gaigher De Oliveira) and his

nieces, Sofia Alencar De Oliveira Gracindo, Emanuelle Gaigher De Oliveira, and his nephew,

Augusto Gaigher De Oliveira.

His father-in-law, Nick Cavaiola, and sister-in-law, Sara Cavaiola, are saddened to lose a treasured member of their immediate family.

Samir De Oliveira was predeceased by his mother, Eronildes Alencar Sacramento De Oliveira, and his

mother-in-law, Maria Teresa Cavaiola.

Samir was born in Salvador, Baia in Brazil and always had the dream to move to North

America. Upon completing his business degree, he set off to Toronto where he started a new

life. Although in Toronto, Samir remained connected to his family and friends in Brazil and always made sure to keep in touch with everyone.

His most recent role was as a Senior Pension Analyst at the CAAT Pension Plan, where he forged meaningful connections with remarkable colleagues. They created an environment where teaching, learning, and shared laughter were part of every day.

Sam and Anthony built a wonderful life together in Toronto, and lived their lives to the fullest.

They threw the best parties, enjoyed the most beautiful friendships, and travelled often. If Samir

sought adventure, he brought it to life and Anthony was always glad to be by his side for the journey.

They truly took care of and loved one another.
