Fay O’Neill

We bid farewell to Fay O’Neill in Lindsay, Ontario, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 18, 2025 at the age of 93. Fay touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Michael “Oswald” O’Neill; her children, June O’Neill and Michael O’Neill; her great grandchild Jackson; and her siblings, Bill, June and Helen.

She is survived by: her children, Shawn O’Neill of Bobcaygeon, Stephen O’Neill (Karen) of Lindsay and Glen O’Neill (Tracey) of Downeyville; her grandchildren, Jason (Lori), Andrew (Lucas), Cora (Mike), Megan (Nick), Richard (Ashley), Bryan (Shaina) and Brenden (Abby); her great grandchildren, Lucas (Dessie), Adyson, Seth, Greer, Hallie, Jacie, Greycen, Cillian and Everett; her cousin Barb Craig of Young’s Point; and her friends, Judi O’Neill of Downeyville and Bev Byrne of Ottawa. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stoddart Funeral Home (24 Mill St, Lindsay, ON K9V2L1). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Luke’s Catholic Church (340 St Lukes Rd, Downeyville, ON K9V 4R5, Kawartha Lakes, ON K9V4R5). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the St. Luke’s Cemetery (369 St Lukes Rd, Kawartha Lakes, ON K9V4R5).
