February 2, 2026
Passed away suddenly and peacefully February 2nd 2026 at home in Scarborough. She was predeceased by her husband Tad Paciej, and was the beloved mother of Wally, Elizabeth, and Helena. She was the cherished grandmother to Zion, Xavier, and Wyanna. The youngest of twelve children to Walter Edward Arscott and Dorothy Jennifer Arscott, Deborah was the beloved ‘baby’ of a large family, with six brothers and five sisters.
Deborah was a woman of great faith, and a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. She was a well known parishioner at Saint Maria Goretti Parish and a dedicated member of the CWL (Catholic Women’s League). Her greatest pride was her family. Her legacy will live on through her cherished children and grandchildren who brought her immense joy.
Those who knew Deborah will remember her for her spirit, her unwavering faith, her dedication to her family, and the quiet strength she carried through life’s many seasons. She left behind a legacy of faith, resilience, and love. She will be missed by her family and many friends. She is now at rest, reunited with her loved ones in eternal peace.
Deborah held the Serenity Prayer close to her heart:
”God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.”
