The family of Marcel sadly announce his peaceful passing on Thursday September 18, 2025 at the Welland General Hospital at the age of 83. We would like to thank all of the staff there who took such good care of him.
Dearly remembered by his daughter Deborah Paré. Marcel is predeceased by his brother Guy Paré, his parents Armand and Généria and his children Dan and Michele. Beloved grandfather to several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marcel is survived by his siblings and their spouses, Gaëtanne McAllister, Ghislaine Saumure, Robert & Yolande Paré, Henriette Arsenault ,Thèrése & André Rodrigue and Gérard Paré. Marcel worked for Fraser Ship Repairs in Port Colborne for 35+ years. He was a dedicated and respected worker. He also loved cutting trees and sitting in front of his woodstove in his downtime. He will be missed by his beloved fur companions, Maggie and Zoey. A visitation will commence on Friday September 26th, 2025 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Rd N, Ridgeway. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11:30 am at St. Jean-De-Brebeuf Catholic Church, 300 Killaly St East, Port Colborne. Rite of committal will follow at Mount St. Joseph Cemetery, Port Colborne. Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
