PARK, David Albert James Park

passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital on November 20, 2025.

A lifelong resident of Brock township, David was predeceased by his beloved wife Joan (nee Anderson). He was a loving father to Stephen (Laurie) Park, Debbie (Dean) Lardner and Cindy Patterson. His treasured grandchildren are Jamie, Michelle, David (Leah), Gregory (Chanelle), Brian, Rachael (Brandon) and Nicole. His legacy continues with his great-grandchildren Miles, Lily, Daniel and Ellie. David is fondly remembered by his brother Ralph (Carol) Park. They were the proud sons of the late Herman and Mary (nee Gibson) Park. He will be missed by his brother-in-law Neil (Carol) Anderson and their children Tammy (Prad) Jaipaul and Kenny (Cassie) Anderson.

In the final chapter of life, following the passing of his beloved Joan, David went on to find love again with Margaret Jewell.

Dave’s kind, easygoing manner meant that he made friends easily and kept them forever. His appeal ranged from animals (including his last pet, Jake) and children to the senior citizens that he cut grass for. Growing up on a farm, Dave was a natural with plants and kept a healthy garden every summer, including his last.

A true sportsman, Dave spent many hours at the curling club and on the baseball diamond. He would often be the one person on the boat who caught a fish. He was notorious at cards and enjoyed his weekly euchre game. These activities lead to many friendships and his passion for sports has passed down through his children and grandchildren.

There will be a private internment for the family at Cedar Vale Cemetery.

A celebration of life will be held at the Cannington Legion on Saturday, December 13th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. If desired, memorial donations to Diabetes Canada, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
