JENSEN, Patricia Mary Jensen

Passed away on January 1, 2024, age 89.

Pat is survived by her daughters, Karen Jensen (Greg Brown) and Kim Jensen (Scott Rogers); as well as her five grandchildren, Mitchell Jameson, Curtis Jameson, Madison Jameson, Sam Rogers and Atticus Rogers.

Pat grew up in Sault Ste. Marie where she graduated from nursing in 1955.

Pat left the Sault when she married Tor Jensen in 1960. She returned to work in 1978, after staying at home to raise her two daughters.

Pat’s commitment to West Hill Community Services resulted in a part time Meals on Wheels program blossoming into many needed services to the community, an Adult Child Centre, an Adult Literacy program, friendly visiting, a food bank, a furniture bank, a legal aid clinic, as well as an accredited Community Health Centre. Pat was an avid bridge player and loved to entertain.

Many of us fondly remember the grand fun had at numerous celebrations she hosted for friends and family.

She will be interred in the Sault beside her brother Lloyd and her parents, Bertha and Boyd Rintoul, who predeceased her.

There will be a celebration of life at a date to be determined, likely this summer, in the Sault.
