January 2, 2024Â “Don’t curse the darkness, light a candle.” – Nana Kelly Died Tuesday, January 2, 2024, in Markham in her 90th year.
Daughter of Florence and Frank Kelly, sister of Theresa and Barbara, and wife to Frank (died May 2017), for sixty-two years. She is remembered by brother-in-law, John Parker and his wife, sister-in-law, Julie; and sister-in-law, Doreen Watt. She adored and was cherished by her son, Michael and his wife, Maryjane; her son, John and his wife, Donna; and by her son, David and his partner, Leigh Atherton.
She was Mum. Her legacy includes eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren who remember her as Nan and Granny Pat. Patricia was born in London, England, and married Frank Watt in 1955.
Together they immigrated to Toronto in 1956.
She was loved and beloved by all who knew her, ever gracious and perspicacious, thoughtful, and witty. She is remembered.
Celebration of Life will be at 2 p.m., Monday, January 8th at Dixon Garland Funeral Home in Markham, ON.
