Penelope Ann Penny Cosgrove (nee Helston) passed away on September 6, 2026, at Greater Niagara General Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Penny was the wife of James Cosgrove and a mother, stepmother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was predeceased by her parents Tommy and Margo Helston and her brother Robbie.
She was known for her cooking and baking, enjoyed decorating and antiques, worked for Canadian Airlines and Air Canada, and loved travel, road trips, family gatherings, and her dog Scooter. She also volunteered at Mission Thrift Store in St. Catharines.
Arrangements were entrusted to Tranquility Burial & Cremation Services (Niagara) Inc. A private family service will be held later, with a celebration of life planned for a later date. Donations may be made to Mission Thrift Store-St. Catharines.
