Peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 30th, 2025 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in her 77th year. Beloved wife of Giuseppe (60 years). Loving mother of Sam (Tina), Carmela and Rick (Amanda). Cherished Nonna to Giuseppe (Jessica) and Daniella (David). Will be missed by her siblings Teresa (Antonio), Giuseppina (Joe) and Salvatore (Sebastania). Sister-in-law to Maria (Giuseppe) and Silvana (Sebastiano) Predeceased by her parents Corrado and Sebastania, and sister Lucia (Antonio). Franca will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, family, friends, neighbors, and those that had the pleasure of knowing her.

A special thank you to all the doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers at the Durham Region Cancer Centre and Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their compassion and care.

Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home 1289 Keith Ross Drive in Oshawa (905) 440 3595 on Monday, October 6th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Leo’s Parish in Brooklin on Tuesday, October 7th at 11:00 am followed by an entombment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
