PFAFF, Bryan Edward Jacob Pfaff

Passed away peacefully at his home in New Hamburg surrounded by his family on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 in his 85th year.

Beloved husband of Mary (Wilhelm) Pfaff whom he married February 21, 1996. Dear father of Scott (Marie Martin) of New Liskeard and Jody (Amanda) of New Hamburg. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Evan, Braden, Julia, Brendan, Parker and Sadie. Remembered by his step-children Ann Junker of Kitchener, Tara Junker (Mike Irwin) of Guelph, Jim Junker (Emily) of Holstein and by his step grandchildren Arikka, Reese, Brooke (Adam), Jack, Brianna, Taylor and great grandchildren Austin, Harper and Wyatt. Survived by his brother Tom (Bertie) and sister-in-law Karen all of New Hamburg. Bryan Edward Jacob Pfaff will also be remembered by the Wilhelm Family.

Predeceased by his first wife Kathy (May 28, 1989), parents Orville & Gladys (Weber) Pfaff and brother Grant.

Starting very early in life Bryan found the love of sports. He carried that love of sports through his life being an active player winning Championships along the way and then taking up the Coaching role. He was a long time executive member of the New Hamburg Spirit83/Firebirds Jr.”C” Hockey Club. Because of his support of sports in his community he was awarded “Fan of the Year” multiple times for cheering on the local kids. Bryan had a love of painting and many homes and businesses in New Hamburg are blessed to hang his paintings. He was also an very active member of the Living Water Community Fellowship Church, New Hamburg.

Relatives and friends will be received in the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg on Friday, July 3, 2026 from 5 -8pm. Memorial service will be conducted at the Living Water Community Fellowship Church on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 11:00am. A celebration of Bryan’s life will continue upstairs at the Wilmot Recreation Complex from 1:00pm until 4:00pm. Please feel free too just join us at the Celebration if you are unable to attend the visitation or the service.
