PHILLIPS, John Charles Phillips

He was a kind, loving and compassionate man whose greatest joy in life was his family. He was a devoted husband who loved deeply and unconditionally, always putting the needs of those he cared about before his own. His strength, warmth and unwavering support touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.

John Charles Phillips was a proud and loving father to his children, who meant the world to him. Whether sharing laughter, offering encouragement, or creating cherished family memories, he filled their lives with love that will remain with them forever.

Chuck lived a life of hard work, dedication, and service to others. A successful businessman, he proudly owned and operated his own automotive business for many years, earning the trust and friendship of countless customers through his honesty and unwavering commitment. Away from work, hockey was one of his greatest passions. As a coach, manager, and general manager for several teams across the GTA, with the last one being the Uxbridge Bruins. He was more than a leader on the bench – he was a mentor, role model, and friend to the many players and families whose lives he touched, and the sport would remain close to his heart. He was known for his generous heart, sense of humor, and quiet strength. Chuck Phillips had a remarkable ability to make others feel valued and welcome. He will be remembered not only for the life he lived but for the kindness, compassion, and love he shared so freely.

He leaves behind his loving wife Andrea Phillips, his cherished children Glen (Aly) Phillips, Marc (Lyndsay) Phillips, (pre-deceased Wayne Phillips), stepsons Tony and Adam (Sarah) Millar. Grandchildren: Justin, Connor, Natalie (Tyler), Emily, Abbie, Egan, Maguire, Mason, Ava and Logan. Great-grandsons Ozzy and Hendrix, and many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him beyond words.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the memories we share and the love that will never fade. His legacy lives on through his family, the lives he touched, and the countless moments of joy and kindness he gave to others.
