It is with deep sadness that the family of Vada Viola Poulton (nee Coutlee) announces her passing on Monday June 23rd at 2:20pm at Lakeridge Hospital in Oshawa, Ontario, in her 75th year.
The last of four children, to Keith and Vada Coutlee, she grew up in Dundas where she met the love of her life, Michael, “Mike,” Poulton.
In 1967, Vada and Mike married and welcomed their two most beloved children Michael Jr “Mikey” and Jacqueline “Jacki”.

Vada leaves behind her loving husband, Michael of 57 years, her children, Mike Jr (Crystal), and Jacki (Matt), sister Ellen (Jim), brother Jim and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by both her parents, Keith and Vada Coutlee (nee Chant) as well as her brother, Keith Jr. “Bud”.
Stock Car racing was part of the family culture and Vada could be found on any given Saturday night in the tower at Flamboro Speedway scoring cars in the various races and announcing, with authority, to the drivers to line up their cars.

Vada owned her own business (Everlasting Impressions) in Dundas for many years printing shirts and team uniforms for various organizations.
An artist at heart, her work is never far from the eyes of her close family and friends, whether it be in a shirt that she printed, a ceramic that she painted, or a card that she lovingly crafted.
In later years, Vada and Mike semi retired to the Bancroft/St. Ola area where she enjoyed teaching her love of carding with her community. She loved cruising to warmer climates in the winter, and spending time at her home in St. Ola enjoying the company of those that came to visit.
Mike and Vada eventually settled in Oshawa to be close to their son and his wife.
Family and friends will be invited to look back and share their most treasured memories of Vada at a celebration to be held at a later time.
