It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Wayne Prentis, in hospital at the Royal Jubilee. Wayne was born in Victoria, graduated from Victoria High School and subsequently from BCIT. He chose a career in sheet metal, being employed at Universal for over 40 years. Wayne was an avid fisherman with family and friends, and moose hunter with the Cairns, both bringing him much joy. Gardening, tinkering with his truck, and fixing things at home and for others kept him busy, always done with his unique sense of humour. Wayne was predeceased by his beloved daughter Trina, and his sister Marsha. He is survived by his spouse of twenty-five years Donna, daughter Shelly, grandson Cody, and former spouse Linda Bell.
A Celebration of Life will be held November 23rd, 2:00-3:30pm at First Memorial Funeral Services, 4725 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC.
