PRICE, Margaret Price

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Price (nee Marsh) announce her peaceful passing at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia, Ontario on Thursday; July 10th 2025 at the age of 86.

Margaret will be dearly missed by her husband of 67 years Melvin, and her children Marilyn Williams (Mark), Randy (Lucy), David (Debbie) and her beloved grandchildren Kyle (Ann), Stephanie, Cassie, DJ, Melanie, Adam, Katie, and great-grandchild Leia and soon to be 2nd great-grandchild (due September 2025). Sister Allison Stron (Bud). In-laws Bill Simmons (Alice), Ron Simmons (Irene), Stan Simmons (Judy predeceased) Lloyd Simmons (Shirley), Harry Brown (Neta predeceased) and Elaine Marsh (John predeceased).

Margaret is pre-deceased by her parents Adam and Maggie Marsh, Brothers George (Maude), Harvey (Mabel), John, Louis and her Sisters Eva, Belle and Ethel. In-laws Annie and Fred Simmons.

Margaret was born in Hickman’s Harbor NFLD, and re-located to Scarborough Ontario with her husband Melvin. After they retired they moved to Beaverton where Margaret was very active in the community as a member of the Salvation Army Church. Her greatest joy was helping others. She had the biggest and most generous heart. Her greatest wish of all would be for everyone to be kind to each other.

The family would like to thank the wonderful Doctors and Nurses at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia, Ontario for their excellent care and compassion during her illness and her final days.

A private celebration of life will be held for Margaret at a later date
