PROCOPIO, Richard Procopio

Passed away on Sunday, May 10th 2026 at the age of 47. Beloved husband of Christina, loving and proud father of Angelina. Predeceased by his parents Annette and Tony. Richard Procopio was son-in-law of Dita and Les (predeceased).

Richard will be loved and cherished by many family and friends. He will be remembered for his strength, his sense of humour, and passion he brought to the things he loved most.

He was a gentle soul whose presence carried a warmth that could be felt as much as it was seen. He moved through this world with an open heart, offering kindness, compassion, and a deep caring for others.

Though his time with us was far too short, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

Friends may visit with the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Tuesday, May 19th from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at ST. THOMAS THE APOSTLE CHURCH, 715 Centre Rd., Waterdown on Wednesday, May 20th at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.

Christina and Angelina would like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to all of the staff at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital, especially the cancer clinic and palliative team for their hard work and compassion over the years.
