QUICK, Ferris Ralph Quick

Passed away peacefully at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Monday November 24th, 2025 at the age of 92. Loved son of the late Earl & Catherine Quick and son-in-law of the late Orville and Bessie Steels. Beloved husband of Gladys Irene Quick (nee Steels) for 70 years. Loving father of Brian Quick, Darryl Quick – predeceased, and Paula Locke (Murray). Cherished grandfather of Justin (Courtney), Kyle Quick (Jennie Mae), Marty (Ashley), Ryan Locke (Georgia) and great grandfather of Willa. Predeceased by his siblings; Joan Taylor (Royal), Ella McLaren (Victor), Frank Quick (Eleanor), Irene Quick, Eric Quick (Martha), Myrna Gillett (Ernie), June Ferrel (Ken), Rae Craig (Robert), and Doris Quick. Dear brother-in-law to Dorothy Hopkins – predeceased, Mary Livingston (Dennis) – both predeceased, Bill Steels – predeceased (Eileen) and Wes Steels (Marilyn). Ferris will be missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A service to celebrate Ferris’ Life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street East, Orillia on Monday December 1st, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow.
