Mary embraced life with curiosity, creativity, laughter and loved nothing more than a home cooked meal around the dining room table with friends and family.
Born May 2nd 1940 to David and Helen Tyrrell, Mary was a devoted mother to her children Lynne Dalgleish, Diane Feeley, and Heather Dalgleish (Shaun); Grandmother to James Feeley (d. 2023), Patrick, Liam, Wesley, Duncan, Mary, Evan, Kathleen, Mason, and Bransen, also step-grandmother and great grandmother to an ever growing family.
Mary Helen Rammler will be greatly missed by her husband, Peter Rammler, and her sister Carole Gray (Milton) and family.
Whether in Montreal, Paris (Ontario), or Whitby, Mary cultivated deep and lasting friendships. She remained an active member of Beta Sigma Phi throughout her life and found great joy in singing with the choir and serving as a member of St. Mark’s United Church in Whitby.
Mary will be remembered for her quick wit, generous heart, unwavering practicality, beautiful singing voice, devotion to family and her remarkable ability to make lifelong friends wherever life took her.
We will all miss her.
A funeral service will be held at St. Mark’s United Church, 201 Centre St S, Whitby, ON, L1N 4V7, CA, on July 20 at 12 noon, followed by a reception at the church.
