Member of the Cambridge Street United Church, the UCW, and the Ross Memorial Hospital Gift Shop Volunteer, and Past President of the Rebecca Lodge, Lindsay.

Peacefully, on Sunday, March 22, 2026 (one day before her 93rd birthday), at the Agecare Samac Long Term Care, in Oshawa. Betty (née Graham) beloved wife of the late Jack Rathwell (2018). Loving mother of Rob (deceased), Ted Rathwell, Mary and her husband Pat Byrnes. Loved grandmother of Julie and her husband Stephen Falvo, John Rathwell and his wife Tracy, Leighanne Rathwell and her husband Garret Bolen, Tim Rathwell, and Harrison Byrnes. Great grandmother of Helena, and Nathan. Dear sister of Joyce Gordon (deceased), Tom Graham, and Paul Graham. Will be missed by her nieces and nephews. The family of Elizabeth Rathwell will receive friends at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel St, Lindsay on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. A service to celebrate her life will be held in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment East Oakwood Cemetery in the Spring. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Agecare Samac (Lynde Creek Wing) for their care and compassion towards their mother.
