He was predeceased by: his brother Albano. He is survived by: his wife Maria Madalena; his sons, Charles (Anita), Steve (Rachel) and Bobby (Melanie); his siblings, Jose, Antero and Graca; and his parents, Jose Rego and Isabel Rego.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendrier Ward Funeral Home – Brampton Chapel (52 Main St S, Brampton, ON L6W2C5). A Mass will be held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calendrier St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church (66 Main St S, Brampton, ON L6W2C6). An entombment will be held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calendrier Assumption Cemetery (6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON L5T1N4).
