passed peacefully surrounded by her family at Hospice Renfrew on Sunday May 17, 2026. Cherished best friend and wife of Bill Reid for 48 years. Beloved mom of Jennifer (Rob) Jones, and Jamie (Emily) . Proud and loving grandma of Paxton, Austin and Madison.Dear sister of Barry (Susan), and Cheryl (Jim), and sister in law of Heather Bruce ( late Reid), Don (Ruth), Terry (Bernice), Dave (Mary-Ann). Predeceased by her parents Harry and Kay Hanniman (Mulvihill) and her sister in law Lila Reid. Karen Mary Reid will be fondly remembered by her nieces Shelley (Neil), Trina (Terry), Stacey (Colin) and her nephews Mike (Tina), Kevin and her several great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church Renfrew on Thursday May 21st at 10:30 am. Private Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Renfrew or the Renfrew Victoria Hospital oncology unit would be greatly appreciated.
