It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss that we announce the peaceful passing of Henry Van Remortel on June 6, 2025, at Apotex Centre Jewish Home, also known as Baycrest.

Henry passed away at the age of 92, just one week before his 93rd birthday. He is now reunited with his beloved wife, Godelieve. Loving father of Paul and Mark. Cherished brother to Emmy, Fay, and Jacob.

He is fondly remembered by Paul’s wife Maureen and their children Taylor, Cole, and Sophie, as well as by Mark’s wife Natasha and their daughters Hailey and Charlize. Henry will be deeply missed by his extended family and many friends. His memory will be lovingly cherished and never forgotten.

A Funeral Mass will be held in his honour at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 24 Cheritan Avenue, Toronto (Yonge and Lawrence) on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
